Steve Owner
Steve started Poole Moto in January 2008. He confesses to nowadays to be a fair weather motorcyclist and loves to borrow one of our Demo Bikes and ride around the beautiful roads of Dorset. He is particularly impressed with the new Vogue DS900 as well as the Royal Enfield Bear.
Luke (Sales Director)
Luke joined us in 2018 he is responsible for FCA Compliance as well as heading our Sales Department. In the years he has been with us he has helped grow the business from a small single showroom shop selling 100 bikes a year to over a 1000 bikes a year. We now stock over 400 bikes in our 4 showrooms and hope to this year top our record sales of 2024. Luke lives with his partner and has two Sons. He loves to ride all bikes his bike of choice is the Fantic Caballero 700.
Jamie (Brand Manager)
Jamie would have been our longest serving member of staff as he originally joined us in 2008 but he left to join the military and after a brief spell in the military he worked as a Car Sales Manager and gained a wealth of experience and wanted to return to Poole Moto as he is passionate about the Royal Enfield brand. He probably has more bikes and cars than the rest of the team added together and normally uses either his Royal Enfield Himalayan or BSA to get to work.
Lee (Sales Admin & Social Media)
Lee has recently joined us. He supports the sales team with admin. He has never ridden bikes but has just booked his CBT with our training school operated by CC Motorbike Training
Nick (Aftersales Director)
Nick is our longest serving employee joining the company in 2009. He is responsible for all things after sales and will often be found in the workshop helping one of our technicians or carrying out an MOT in our newly installed bay. He has ridden most bikes. He currently loves to take home our Royal Enfield Guerrilla which cuts his commute time in half.
Erik (Aftersales Advisor & Coffee Machine Monitor)
Erik was born in Hungary and relocated to the UK about 10 years ago. He is responsible for all aspects of Aftersales. He is married and has just had a Son to join his 4 year old Daughter. He uses a bike everyday for transport and opts for the Royal Hunter which is great through the traffic and very economical.
Ady (Workshop Manager)
Ady heads our team of 4 technicians. He has years of experience gained in over 25 years working on all times of bikes in addition he is a motorcycle MOT tester. He often uses his Aprilia to commute to work and has just brought from South Africa a very special Alfa @@@ that he imported himself.
Mark (Skilled Technicain)
Mark has vast experience in everything two wheels. In addition he owns numerus bikes from Small to Large as well as Classic machines so can choose a different bike for his commute each day
Clive( Skilled Technician)
Clive has gained his experience after working on bikes for many years. He particularly likes working on Royal Enfield and BSA bikes. Clive uses a bike everyday for work and still rides on a regular basis a BSA that he has owned for almost 50 years.
Dan (Technician)
Dan has worked from us for a short period since he was made redundant from a local Kawasaki and KTM dealer that had closed down.
Rob (Driver)
Rob owns numerous bikes including a nice BMW. He does deliveries for us often further afield so is often on the road very early or late . He has been all over the UK and has even delivered bikes to the Highlands of Scotland
Damo
Damo is our newest team member. He delivers bikes for us all over the UK so early starts and late finishes he takes in his stride. He has a few bikes including a Bandit he has just renovated
Haydn ( Maintenance & Environmental Disposal)
After a Lifetime in engineering Haydn moved down to Dorset. He loves bikes and was looking for a part time job in the bike industry. He can put his hand to more a less anything and now spends most oh his day on general maintenance as well as being responsible for recycling as we generate lots of waste, packaging, etc He loves his bikes and currently owns a Kawasaki ZRX1200.
Mike (Bike Builder)
We have deliveries of new bikes most days. Mike is responsible for organising our warehouse and then building bikes ready for the technicians to prepare. Mike is an an all weather motorcyclist and uses his Benelli everyday to get to work.
